Submission Guidelines

Candidates should submit an outline of their research, in which they

(a)   describe the research problem and position it against existing literature,
(b)   highlight the intended theoretical and managerial contribution,
(c)   describe and justify the methodology adopted, and
(d)   present some key results and conclusions.

The deadline for submission is April 30, 2018.

All submissions will be evaluated by the Faculty Group and notification of acceptance/rejection will be sent by June 15, 2018 at the latest.

Submissions must not be longer than 7 pages in total (incl. cover/title page, references, tables and figures). Please note that the name of the candidate and, in the case of PhD students, the name(s) of the thesis advisor(s) and relevant contact details should appear on the first page of the abstract. As part of the submission process, candidates also need to complete a standard form (which can be downloaded here). On this form, candidates should also indicate whether they already have a PhD or are in the process of completing one. Canditates should also submit a short abstract (no more than 150 words) for inclusion in the program.

Please send the above mentioned documents (research proposal, abstract, and form) to emac.camp@univie.ac.at no later than April 30, 2018. Accepted proposals in each track will be made available to all registered participants in that track to allow everyone to prepare in advance for the discussions.
